Core Element is a non-profit organization bringing successful Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) programs to schools in the Greater New Orleans area. Core Element trains teachers and equips them with hands-on, inquiry-based kits. Core Element provides kindergarten through 12th grade math and science teachers with the tools and resources they need to deliver hands-on, minds-on learning opportunities in the classroom. Operation Spark is a non-profit software development training school out of New Orleans that brings individuals with no knowledge of programming up to the level of employability in the technology industry. Most students are low-income and underrepresented in the technology industry.
